The Chronicles of Corolon

As part of trying to get this site up and running, I’ve added the first page. Chronicles of Corolon is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I played in to a virtual series.

I wrote this script ages ago and kept meaning to “finish” it as a prose story. That part never ended up being fun, so I’ve decided to go old school and just keep it as a series of teleplays. Since this is basically fan fiction, I think that falls into “no harm, no foul” territory.

This project isn’t a priority. I’ll probably write new entries in between other projects, or when I just want to do something for fun and no greater purpose.

For crediting purposes, I created Orrin and his family. The character Ryn was created by another player who had to drop out early on. The world was created by my dungeon master, and is a kitchen sink setting that throws in a lot of material from other sources alongside original content. And he let me add my own spin to it on top of that.

This first episode adapts the first two sessions of the campaign that were originally supposed to be a homebrew campaign. When the other player had to drop out, and we knew he couldn’t come back any time reasonably soon, the campaign transitioned to Princes of the Apocalypse.
